Robert Lewis
President & CEO
With over 20 years of experience, Robert brings the best quality sound and visual entertainment experience you can have! Robert’s experience began working with a small local Cable company here in Forsyth County and then expanded his experience working with a number of large AV companies throughout GA. He has lived in Forsyth County most of his life attending High school here and Lanier Tech. Robert went out on his own in 2010 to start AV Excellence and it has been great to be able to design systems for our clients and have complete design control.
As President and CEO of AV Excellence Robert brings a strong construction background, project management, low voltage experience, and multiple program certifications.
April Lewis
Business Development Coordinator
As the business development coordinator April Lewis helps with acquiring new customers and developing relationships with current ones. She also is responsible for Social media content and online marketing. When april isn’t at the office she loves relaxing on the boat or Stand Up paddle boarding. She is also the avid gardener with her Shitzu, Tucker!
Joey Riccio
Chief Operations Officer
Joey has 6 years experience on commercial job sites designing and installing structured systems. He is certified in multiple access control systems including Honeywell Access and Continental Access Systems for installation, design, and programming. Joey is currently on track to qualify for his Low Voltage Unrestricted exam at the end of this year. His skills in Residential and Commercial Installations will continue to be a great addition to our AVX Family.
Travis Forrester
Lead Technician
With over 20 years experience in Low Voltage and Electrical, Travis brings a lot of knowledge and problem solving to AVX. His 10 years in commercial electrical helped refine Travis’s management and installation skills with large projects. His hustler, no nonsense attitude is here to get the job done! Travis is an avid sports fan, North Georgia born and raised, so when he’s not working, he loves playing softball with his daughter, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!
Steven Lewis
Technician
Fresh, young and ready to make clients smile! Steven has been a part of AVX for over a year. His eagerness to learn new things and his problem solving abilities really brings an unique perspective to the complex world of audio/video installation.
Steven is a graduate of Forsyth Central High School and graduated with Honors as a A.S.E certified technician. He’s the son of AVX owners Robert and April Lewis, so he has grown up in the business.
In his free time, Steven likes to rebuild 1980’s to 1990’s Chevy trucks.
